Personal Educational License

An enrolled student receives only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the course for personal study during the authorized period. Students may take personal notes, make limited quotations in assigned schoolwork, and discuss course content with Mr. Zhan and classmates within reasonable educational limits. No ownership of course files, webpages, databases, or intellectual property is transferred.

Prohibited Uses

Without prior written permission from Mr. Zhan, no person may:

• systematically copy, screenshot, record, download, print, translate, adapt, compile, or republish non-public course content;
• upload course content to websites, cloud drives, social media, chats, forums, learning platforms, or other distribution channels;
• lend, sell, transfer, or share course credentials, student codes, or login sessions;
• create mirror sites, copied pages, derivative courses, commercial bundles, or paid services based on this website;
• use crawlers, scripts, automated browsers, or bulk-capture tools to scrape, index, copy, or monitor website content;
• use non-public content to train or fine-tune AI models, build datasets, knowledge bases, or retrieval systems, or submit it to public AI services that may retain or reuse it;
• remove, obscure, alter, or evade watermarks, copyright notices, source credits, access controls, or rights-management information; or
• impersonate Mr. Zhan or ZhanHistory, or imply authorization, endorsement, or partnership where none exists.

Access may be suspended or revoked when unauthorized sharing, automated extraction, or other violations are detected. Relevant security records may be retained, and all available legal rights are reserved.

Third-Party Materials

Images of museum objects, artworks, buildings, historic sites, archaeological materials, maps, manuscripts, archives, historical photographs, speeches, excerpts, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective creators, photographers, collections, museums, archives, libraries, publishers, or other rights holders. Source, institution, original page, and known rights information should be credited whenever available.

Public-domain works remain in the public domain. This website claims no exclusive ownership over the underlying third-party public-domain works themselves. Privacy, Watermarks, and Logs

To secure course access, preserve progress, investigate technical problems, and protect original materials, the website may record access time, course and Chapter, an anonymous visitor or student identifier, login results, approximate country or region, hashed network identifiers, and necessary browser information. Public-preview technical records do not automatically identify a visitor by real name; enrolled-course records may be linked to an individual student code.

These records are used for authentication, abnormal-access detection, copyright protection, troubleshooting, and course operations, and are not intended for the sale of student personal information. Dynamic watermarks may display preview status, an anonymous or student identifier, and access time.
